This is a one-time inventory, not a new notebook habit. Missed installments are usually a design problem: the plans live in five places and your brain only tracks two. The goal is to find every active plan once, enter it into My Debt Coach, and stop the scavenger hunt.
Minute 0 to 5: search your email
Search for phrases like pay in 4, your payment is due, Klarna, Afterpay, Affirm, Sezzle, Zip, and installment. Star or label every confirmation and reminder from the last year. Note merchant, amount, and next due date as you go.
Do not dig forever. Five minutes of search beats a perfect archive.
Minute 5 to 12: open the apps and sites
Open Klarna, Affirm, Afterpay, PayPal Pay Later, and any store-branded pay-later account you remember. Capture active plans only. Closed plans can wait.
If an app wants a password reset, skip it for now and come back later. Capture what you can access today.
Minute 12 to 18: scan bank and card activity
Skim recent transactions for familiar BNPL descriptors and autopay labels. Match anything you have not already found. You are reading what already sits in your history so nothing stays invisible.
Minute 18 to 20: enter everything into My Debt Coach
